Welcome to the first edition of the Australasian Dermatology Registry newsletter for 2026.
In the lead up to the Australasian College of Dermatologists’ Annual Scientific Meeting (ACD ASM), we would like to share some exciting news. The registry is expanding to incorporate chronic hand eczema, chronic spontaneous urticaria and chronic inducible urticaria. The new skin condition modules have been developed by dermatologists and immunologists from across Australia. The information collected will inform best clinical practice and improve patient care. An information night will be held for each new skin condition, including management and diagnosis, the importance of clinical registries and the data that will be collected.
We are excited to showcase the registry’s impact at this month’s ACD ASM, where our latest publications and presentations will demonstrate how real-world data are directly impacting patient care. This progress is made possible by the ongoing commitment of our participating clinics and patients, whose contributions remain essential to the registry’s continued success.
